A Welcome from the Superintendent of Curriculum

As the Superintendent of Curriculum, my role is to ensure the students of the American School of Kuwait (ASK) are receiving the best possible education. We want our students to not only achieve their individual best in school, but also in their future lives. We help achieve student success in three key ways:

  1. Hiring the best quality teachers and helping to develop their teaching practices once they are in our organization.
  2. Using the most up-to-date American learning goals for our students and then having our teachers employ the latest research-based best practices in their instruction in the classroom.
  3. Most importantly, student success is enhanced through a collaborative approach to learning between administration and their teachers, teachers and their students, and in a partnership between parents and the school.

Here at ASK we truly believe in inspiring life-long learners empowered to excel in American Higher Education and the global community as productive, compassionate citizens. This is enacted in our classrooms on a daily basis through the actions of our quality teachers. We invite you and your children to join our community of learners.

Please don’t hesitate to contact our school administration for any questions you may have regarding our academic program at ASK and our approach to student learning.

Warm regards,
Dr. Scott Dennison
